TO OUR FLY FAMILY & FRIENDS...
We have some exciting news to share with everyone: FLY STUDIOS IS MOVING TO OUR DREAM HOME!
Last summer, we got word that our landlord was selling our building to Chase Bank which gave us the momentum to find our dream space. We were blessed to be able to purchase a small lot of land right on Pacific Coast Highway in Redondo Beach and we will be building our studio from the ground up in the next couple of months! To be able to design our very own fly home was always a dream of mine and now it's just around the corner. With an awesome team of architects and designers we are anticipating a beautiful modern building of light, color, and many state of the art additions. Plus, the height of our building will be twice of what we have now!
Fly Studios will be taking a small pause in our operations for 3 months during April, May, and June where we will be entirely focusing on concentrating on the build out and opening up the new location. As much as we'll miss everyone for those 12 weeks, we know that it will pass quickly and we'll be gearing up for a fantastic reunion as of July 1st when our doors will reopen!
We'd like to thank everyone who has supported us through the years and those who have just recently joined our family. It's the passion and commitment from our students that gives us the momentum to continue to build the ultimate aerial arts space for all of you. This amazing space here on the corner of Aviation and Artesia has given us all a wonderful journey and marks the beginning of another exciting chapter for Fly Studios. In pure celebration honoring this space that has been our home for 3 years we are going to have a big show of creativity and fun for our students on Saturday March 30th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. A last hoorah before we close these doors and begin the reopening of our new home!
This newsletter is to try to answer all your questions that may come up with this news blast. We are working together to make sure that everyone has clarity what will be happening in the next couple of weeks and through the next couple of months as we relocate. - Where is Fly Studios Moving to!
We are moving to 512 North Pacific Coast Highway, Redondo Beach, 90277. Right across Petco and neighboring the gastropub called Hudson House. Our new location is a great midway between our Manhattan and Hermosa families, to our West Torrance and Palos Verdes folks. Soon as you drive on PCH you'll find our new home towering 30ft high!

When are we closing our doors at 1727 Artesia Blvd?
We will be closing these doors as of April 1st, 2013, but not before we have a showcase where we can celebrate with all of our fly community the last 3 amazing years at this location!
- Can we keep current with the build out of the new space?
Absolutely! We will post a blog and updates on our website at www.flystudios.com. You can also email us at flyforpower@gmail.com or even call us at 3103763300 to get a personal update by one of our fly team. Plus we'd love to hear from you guys at any time!
- Can we still make camp or bday reservations through the buildout?
Definitely! Our fly central office will still be open through the entire time, and we will be actively taking on camp reservations for the summer, along with booking birthday parties reserved for July and August. Simply visit our website and contact us via email or phone!
- What is the date and time of our CLOSING OUR DOORS celebration performance?
The date is set as of Saturday March 30th from 6pm-8pm. We will be reserving the Fun Fridays as rehearsal dates for the show: March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. This is a creative showcase so all of our students are welcome to perform. Those who want to perform will have to attend the Friday rehearsal times in March. Lil' Whirlwinds and Academy Prep will be a guided rehearsal, Level 1's and above will be organized in solos, duets, trios by our fly instructors but will be an open rehearsal time.
- What is the theme and name of our showcase?
Since this is a celebration performance, we are going to ask our students to help us come up with a name and theme. We will come up with the overall name and theme as of Thursday March 7th!
- How do we get tickets for the showcase on March 30th?
This will be a free showcase and just a chance to celebrate with our students and with the fly community!
- What is the date of the opening of the newly build Fly Studios, and is there a grand opening?
We plan to have a soft opening at our new location on Monday July 1st, 2013! Our grand opening celebration will be on Saturday July 20th. This will be a day full of events, classes, food, and fun! We'll post more information on our website closer to the date!
- What happens to our current tuition autopays?
All autopays will be suspended, and the amounts will be prorated accordingly.
With the opening of our new home as of July 1st, all our current students will be contacted via email to see if they'd like to continue as a student in our new location. With your approval, we will make the autopay active on the date of your first visit.
